FINANCE MANAGER

IPPF EN is recruiting for its Brussels Office a FINANCE MANAGER  who will be responsible for managing a team of four staff. Main duties are to ensure sound financial management of the core and project funding in accordance with IPPF’s procedures and regulations. The Finance Manager reports to the Regional Director and the Board. We are looking for candidates with 5 to 10 years experience in a comparable function, highly computer literate and fluent in English and French. NGO experience is an asset. The candidate should be willing to travel from time to time in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. A full job description can be obtained upon request.

OFFICE ASSISTANT

The Office Assistant is responsible for the overall organization of the travel for staff and participants to workshops and meetings and to help the Programme Assistant in the logistics of these meetings. The Office Assistant is responsible for the purchase and stock of office supplies and shares responsibility with the Programme Assistant for the reception, phone and mail.

Candidates should have studied secretariat or tourism. Although some experience is an asset, we welcome starters in the job. Candidates should be computer literate and be fluent in English while knowledge of any other language is an asset.

IPPF EN PROJECT COORDINATOR

The IPPF European Network (IPPF EN) regional office is seeking to recruit a full-time PROJECT COORDINATOR for a project aiming to make high quality abortion services safe, legal and accessible in selected countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Balkans. In addition to ensuring the effective and timely implementation of the project and the achievement of its objectives overall, the project coordinator will supervise and support the implementation of the project in the participating IPPF EN Member Associations (MAs). S/he will also provide technical assistance to MA and Regional Office staff on safe abortion related issues. The position, which is based in Brussels, requires frequent travel within the region.

The successful candidate will have a medical background, with extensive experience in sexual and reproductive health programmes including the delivery of safe abortion services, either as a practitioner or a manager. S/he will also have experience in project management and will be results-oriented. Excellent English writing skills and fluency in Russian are essential.
