Ms Joanna Dec Ph. D. is a national of Poland. She has been serving as a member of the Regional Executive Committee of International Planned Parenthood Federation European Network since 2008 and was elected as President of IPPF EN in 2011. She is also a volunteer with Towarzystwo Rozwoju Rodziny, IPPF EN's Member Association in Poland.

Ms Dec currently works as a lecturer at the University of Zielona Gora, where she teaches an introduction to sexology, sexuality education, family and sexual counselling, HIV prevention, health education and health promotion for the Faculty of Pedagogy students.

Her areas of interest include SRHR, sexuality education, sex work, outreach and HIV counselling.
