Mrs Elena Dmitrieva Ph. D. is a national of Russia. She has been serving as member of the Regional Executive Committee of International Planned Parenthood Federation European Network (IPPF EN) since 2001 and was nominated as President of IPPF EN in 2005. She is also a Board Member of the Russian Family Planning Association (RFPA).

Mrs. Dmitrieva Ph.D. (Doctorate of Science in Sociology) currently works as Director of "Healthy Russia Foundation" (HRF). She works in the area of HIV/AIDS and RH interventions in counseling, peer education, in-school education, advocacy and mass media activities.

Her scientific interests lie in the field of sociology of health and healthcare, health communication.
