Vicky Claeys (Belgium) is the Regional Director of the IPPF European Network (IPPF EN) since 2003.

From 1981 to 1996, Vicky Claeys was the Executive Director of the Belgian-Flemish IPPF Member Association (currently Sensoa), and was involved in the IPPF European Network since 1983 as a participant in different European activities.   Since 1996 she served as Liaison Officer for IPPF, and was asked to set up an office in Brussels for improving the contacts with the European Union. When in 1999 the IPPF EN Regional Office moved from London to Brussels, she was appointed as the Advocacy Manager.   In that function her work concentrated on advocating for sexual and reproductive rights in the European Institutions and networking with other NGOs and agencies. As Regional Director she is responsible for the smooth relations with the volunteers and the member associations, ensuring that the whole of IPPF European Network is operating according to IPPF’s mission and values and fulfilling its strategic priorities.
