Child focus and Sensoa have launched “De Juiste Click” (The right click) an informative game package about safe internet
The internet is fun and great. It widens the look of children and young people and it opens up the world to them. Young people can build friendships and the internet is a source of adventure and games. But things can go wrong. Children can have less nice experiences on the internet or behave in a risky way. It is important to look critically at their own behavior on the world wide web and to know what you can and cannot do. One of the ground rules for instance is not to make your identity data available to all.
The central piece of the game package is a game box. The game makes children and young people reflect on how they use the internet. There are also brochures that the children can read themselves or can be used in schools or by parents.
The game package is supported by a website and a course package that teachers can download from the website that can be found on the following internet address: www.clicksafe.be .
The game was developed by Sensoa in cooperation with Child Focus and with the support of the European Commission.
