32 representatives of IPPF EN's youth group YSAFE (Youth Sexual Awareness For Europe) gathered together in Brussels on 12-14 February for their Annual Meeting. YSAFE members originating from 30 countries within Europe and Central Asia appointed new YSAFE Steering Committee members Jacek Jakubczak from Poland (as Chair), Tove Larsson from Sweden (Vice chair) as well as Maya Koumanova from Bulgaria, Felix Daniel Nedelcu from Romania and Renata Daunoraviciute from Lithuania (as ordinary members). The meeting focused on Sexual Rights and media. Participants addressed challenges young people face in their countries relating to sexual and reproductive health and rights and also exchanged experiences and shared ideas on a range of topics such as youth participation and upcoming opportunities within SAFE II project.
