    We are an NGO champion

    As one of the Code's original signatories and members of the current steering committee, IPPF has integrated its good practice principles into our work and we actively promote the Code around the world. 

    The non-governmental organization Code of Good Practice sets out key principles, practice and the evidence base required for successful responses to HIV.

    IPPF EN provides technical assistance to grant-receiving Member Associations to strengthen their STI/HIV/AIDS programmes.

     

     

     

    IPPF EN is recognized as a full partner and player in advocacy for HIV/AIDS in Europe and in European Development Cooperation. As a result, IPPF EN RO is invited as an expert, particularly on the issue of integrating SRHR and HIV/AIDS, at major events and meetings.

     

    Amongst its advocacy activities, IPPF EN is involved with European HIV/AIDS networks to promote the integration of SRHR/HIV-AIDS both in European initiatives and on the European Development agenda. IPPF EN is a well established partner in the EC's Civil Society Forum on HIV/AIDS (DG SANCO) and collaborates regularly with the AIDS NGOs that advocate for HIV/AIDS in EC development aid.

     

    In 2006, the Regional Office also participated in the dialogue organized between European development NGOs and the Global Fund, raising the issue of integration of SRHR in HIV/AIDS programmes.
