The Family Planning Association of Albania (FPAA) runs family planning clinics in Tirana and Lezha, and has branches in six districts of the country.

FPAA train health personnel in reproductive health, post-delivery contraception, and safe abortion techniques. FPAA also train pharmacists and sex educators.

We run media campaigns on information, education and communcation activities aimed at sensitizing the general public on family planning techniques, which are created in cooperation with the Albanian Foundation for Civil Society.

We publish other information and education materials. These are aimed at a target audience of young people and service-providers. These materials include translated IPPF material, and the quarterly `Reproductive Health'.

FPAA advocate to government officials and to policy-makers, on issues related to reproductive rights.  FPAA also participate in drafting legislation on reproductive health.

The Association co-operates with women's non-governmental organizations to advocate for improved access to family planning.

FPAA are also committed to gathering information, and analyzing data in order to survey public family planning awareness and practice.
