The Fédération Francophone Belge pour le Planning Familial et l'Education Sexuelle  (FFBPFES) lobbies the Wallonian government to ensure continuity of funding for the 37 centres which it runs, and for its information and documentation centre.

It conducts training for health personnel, and lobbies in Wallonia for women's reproductive health rights especially. It has also organized a solidarity campaign for Algerian women.

Sensoa is the Flemish expert organisation on sexual health and HIV and the official partner organisation of the government of the Flemish Region with regard to sexual health promotion.

Sensoa was created in 2003 from a merger of several HIV/AIDS organisations and the family planning association (CGSO). Sensoa develops a whole range of prevention activities:

• mass media campaigns
• brochures
• exhibitions
• posters
• manuals
• training packages

targeted at:

Sensoa’s international programme is primarily involved in advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights and HIV/AIDS in Belgium’s international development cooperation, but will be focusing more on capacity building in the near future.

Sensoa also runs several services:

• a safe sex hotline
• a training centre
• a documentation centre,
• an online shop
• a counselling service for people living with HIV/AIDS
