Norsk forening for seksuell og reproduktiv helse og rettigheter (NSRR), the Norwegian Association for Sexuality and Reproductive Health, acts as an umbrella for different non-governmental organizations (NGOs), actions, and as a link between operators and policy-makers, co-ordinating and facilitating different actions.

Extensive coverage of sexual and reproductive health services is provided nationally, and there are a number of NGOs working on specific aspects in this field.

Several of our board members have, in their professional capacity, participated in Sexual and Reproductive Health Advisory Missions to the government and family planning associations in other countries, for example, the Baltic States and Russia, as well as to Africa.

NSSR has good working relations with the Norwegian foreign aid institutions.

The Norwegian Association for Sexuality and Reproductive Health, produce a regular newsletter.

We also conduct research on adolescent sexual, contraceptive and abortion behaviour, as well as providing sex education seminars.

We train service-providers to build technical competence.
