Do you enjoy working with partners across Europe and are good at cultivating relationships with donors? Are you driven by the advancement of human rights and investment in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) as part of European development cooperation? Then come and join our amazing team to lead Countdown 2030 Europe, a Consortium of 15 leading European NGOs holding key European donor countries and the European Union to account for their international policy and funding commitments to achieve universal access across the world to sexual and reproductive health and address the unmet need for family planning.  

As part of the IPPF EN advocacy team leading Countdown 2030 Europe, you will be both responsible for the oversight of the project as well as for the coordination of the development and submission of a new grant proposal. You will have to ensure an effective implementation of the project incl. designing and following up on the overall planning and project cycles, reporting to the donor and ensuring and effective M&E, monitoring the project budget. You will also be in close contact with the country partners, overviewing the implementation of the project joint activities, contributing where relevant to the advocacy work and managing the communication strategy. You will also be guiding the annual European donor tracking review of European SRH/FP funding trends.

Profile: We are looking for a proactive team player with at least five years of proven experience in a relevant field (advocacy/ project management/development cooperation). You have a proven ability in coordination/ managing complex, multi partner projects. You show strong analytical, organizational and report writing skills as well as a proven track record in working in alliances/ coalitions. Fluency in English is essential together with excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal/negotiating skills. Knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family planning is required. An understanding the EU/UN is desirable.
