With the adoption of its Multi-annual Financial Framework (MFF, 2014-2020), the EU has introduced major changes to how it funds the work of CSOs. This publication looks into the new EU funding delivery mechanisms for CSOs and how they will be implemented. IPPF EN, through its Countdown 2015 project, jointly with CONCORD gathered and published the information available in this publication, which highlights the funding delivery mechanism of greatest relevance to CSOs ( i.e. direct awards, pooled funding and trust funds, framework partnership agreements, grants and re-granting, etc.). Noting that the EU is one of the biggest donors worldwide and a strong supporter of SRHR, it is key for IPPF as a Federation to have a better understanding of these funding mechanisms and consequently identify entry points for SRHR funding.
