YSAFE

Youth network working for sexual and reproductive health and rights.

SAFErs are volunteers, educators, experts and activists. Their goal is to ensure that young people everywhere are able to enjoy their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) by leading and empowering a network of young people from Europe and Central Asia. These young volunteers are educating their peers and advocating for young people to claim their SRHR and to take part in shaping societies. They believe that all young people should have the right to decide of their own bodies and to be able to express their gender- and sexual identities without fear of discrimination or violence. Their main areas of work are within comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and youth centered approaches (YCA). Their network is one of the youth networks of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). They are non-religious and non-governmental.
